I'm a wife mother TV /radio host motivational speaker advocate for justice  entrepreneur and now a published author.  I believe in keeping it real...  I am known as RawSilk "The Realist".

 

Attendees of my seminars laugh cry and are enlighten by my bluntly honest approach of embracing God’s gift of women’s intuition.

 

I am also the creator/executive producer and host of The Sista to Sistah Can We Talk Show and Rawsilk Radio Show. The Sistah 2 Sista Can We Talk Show  and the Raw Silk Radio Show provides a platform for the discussion of issues of concern to woman with an emphasis on issues affecting women of color. Our goal  is to educate and inspire black women to break generational curses, contribute to the restoration of "the village” and to alleviate poverty, suffering, and inequality in our communities. Sista 2 Sistah provides a platform for all women to come talk, unite, share, heal, and learn. Further, I am also the co-host of the Enliven Radio show and a co-host for the RULZ Relationship TV Show. I have  been happily married for the past eight years to my husband Randolph (fondly known as Casheem). I am a native New Yorker  born in Queens, New York and grew up in Brownsville Brooklyn, New York. I am the mother of a son Michael and have two step-children Eboni and Davonte'.  Currently I reside in  Virginia with my husband, and our Chocolate Pit-bull Sheena, Cockatiels Angel and Sweetie and our turtle Slow-Poke.
